Description: - We started to grow this Fuchsia variety three days after it introduction at the British Fuchsia societies show in London 1975. Raised by Mrs. Ivy Clyne a well-known Fuchsia hybridizer from Middsex. We have tried crossing this cultivar ourselves with a certain amount of luck producing one or two good Fuchsia seedlings, we are still attempting to trial these Fuchsia seedlings at our Fuchsia nursery and will release the results soon, and the results look very promising. Fuchsia Blanche Regina is a medium sized Fuchsia plant which flowers very well under all conditions, the white and violet Fuchsia flowers stand out well against the Fuchsia foliage, the Fuchsia flowers produce a tassel–like appearance. Self-branching natural trailing Fuchsia. Medium to Large Fuchsia flowers.

Rooting Fuchsia cuttings with the aid of artificial lighting.
All lighting must be of the highest recommended horticultural grade, and installed by a qualified E.E.C. approved electrician.
Never attempt to install any electric fittings in a damp environment yourself.
Cost of electric per season is 22p per sq. ft, (£ 2.36 per sq. metre)
Mist without covers :- Month Lights per day. Insert to root.
Thermostat setting December 16 hours 9 days
65 degrees Fahrenheit January 16 hours 10 days

Until 10th March March 12 hours 6 days
After 10th March March 10 hours 5 days

All figures are based on the use of Rhyzapon tablets. Recommendations for Rhyzapon are: - 1 tablet per 1000 Fuchsia cuttings throughout the months December until late May, no artificial rooting agent is recommended from there on, this is due to natural hormone levels in plant tissues being very high.
If stock plants are kept, these to will require artificial lighting as well. Realised sales via mail order per season for this variety are:- 37,500 based on a yearly Fuchsia sales figure of 1 million.
I strongly advise that you keep no less than 4500 stock plants of this variety, this will allow for 12 cuttings to be taken off each plant every 21 days, (this is an average figure).
